David N. Huxley

Pipe Major

David Huxley is Civil Engineer & Environmental Science Major at California Baptist University(CBU). He currently works for the Jurupa Community Services District (JCSD), Jurupa Mountains Discovery Center (JMDC), and Teaches Earth Science at the University. David first heard about the UCR Pipe Band through a newspaper add instructing for new players to try the Great Highland Bagpipes. After a couple of sessions with the Pipe Major, Mike Terry, back in 2014, him and his dad bonded over the challenge and David is now the current Pipe Major of the UCR Pipe Band. David enjoys going on outdoor adventures and leaning about new things.
