Judy Conacher

Judy Conacher plays an instrumental role to the strengthening to the UCR Pipe Band. She first heard about the band when Mike Terry started the UCR Pipe Band and her husband, Robbie (Bob), transitioned from the Blandford Band to join UCR. Judy arguably states that she holds no musical talents; however, she became a supporting UCRPB "Groupie". Once the original members of the band decided that a financial organization was needed, Judy was asked to be apart of the development committee. Ultimately, Judy was selected as one of the initial Directors of the Riverside Pipes & Drums Foundation and continues to serve in that capacity. In her early adult years, Judy Conacher was a Highland Dancer and met and married Robert (Bob/ Robbie) Conacher, a member of the Caledonian Pipe Band at the time. Outside of Band Activities, grandchildren, and managing her own business, Judy enjoys traveling, camping, and gold prospecting.
