Lizette is the mother of a young piper in the band, as well as an upcoming drummer. The family has been involved with the UCR Pipe Band for over 3 years and they enjoy the couture of the band and feel blessed to be a part of it. The family now feels invested in the band and wants to see the safe, friendly, encouraging, and inspiring culture preserved. She homeschools her children and teaches homeschool theater classes and helps with a choir organization her daughter participates in. She also serves on the board of a homeschool co-op she helped create. Lizette loves challenges and can adapt to what is needed for the good of the group.
