Bob (Robert) Conacher

Robert Conacher went to Monrovia High and Whitworth College where he received a Batchelor of Arts Degree in Philosophy and Ancient Greek. He spent time as a policeman and a fireman, but he spent most of his life working as a claims adjuster. Bob began piping in 1957 in the Caledonian Pipe Band. Through the 30+ years in the band, he has stared in movies, T.V. Shows, and stage performances. He played in three other bands before founding the UCR Band with Mike Terry, Heidi Hutchinson and Chris Hanson in 1999. Bob enjoins camping, fishing, and hunting… and occasionally a drink of wine.
